What is a Store Rating?
Best Web Buys' customers rate our member stores based on
two criteria:
- On-time Delivery - Did your music arrive on time as promised? If not,
we want to know about it. We realize timing is critical for many of you.
- Customer Service - Did the store respond promptly to your customer service request? Were
they helpful? If not, we want to know about it.
Based on these criteria, we calculate an average rating based on a 5-point scale, with
1-star ( )
being the lowest and 5-stars ( )
being the highest.
Store Rating Rules:
- Registered users of Best Web Buys may submit ratings
and comments about any of our member stores.
- A user may submit only one rating per store.
- User ratings are reviewed for fraud (e.g. one user attempts to submit more than one
rating of a store) and appropriateness of comments.
- If the user rating is approved, it is factored into the On-time Delivery and
Customer Service scores for that store.
- Once a user rating has been published on our site, the vendor may respond to the
rating. Vendors may respond only to user comments posted after
13-Sep-2002.
- Vendor comments are also reviewed for fraud and appropriateness of comments.
- Vendors may also send email replies to a user, if the user grants permission
to do so. Users indicate whether they allow vendors to reply to their comment,
and the method of reply (anonymously or to their email address) at the time they submit a rating.
- A user may change his/her rating of and comments about a store up until the time
a vendor responds. Once a vendor has responded to a user comment, the rating and
comments may no longer be changed.
- However, users are allowed the opportunity to post a follow-up comment to the vendor's
response.
- Vendors are also allowed the opportunity to post one follow-up comment.
- Not all comments, responses and follow-ups are published on our website.
Submit a Rating or Response
If you are a user and would like to rate a store, click here.
If you are a vendor and would like to respond to user comments about your store,
create a user account with us and contact us
with your store name and registered email address. After verifying you are authorized
to represent your store, we will make the appropriate changes to your account
to allow you to post responses.
