1. You may have tried to be TOO precise - as an example, try "rock sid" instead of "rockshox sid fork".
2. You or the store may have misspelled something; we've seen 3 spellings for derailleur used.
3. It may not be available through the stores we search. As an example, most of the manufacturers of complete bikes prohibit the sale of their bikes through the internet or mail order.
4. You may have found a bug in our search engine. If you're sure you should have found something, email us and tell us what happened
5. One of the store sites that we search may not be responding or may be responding too slowly

1. Sometimes it's difficult to tell what model year a store is selling. If you care about the difference between a '98 and '99 XT Derailleur, make sure the price is for what you want. Sometimes that may even require an email or phone call to the store
2. You need to consider all costs when comparing prices. A cheap part may be offset by more expensive shipping costs or by having to pay sales tax. One of our planned features is to help factor in these costs for you.

Yes - a search for "lizard skin fork boot" on 1/7/99 would have produced a price range of $3.99 - $13.95 A search for "Litespeed Unicoi" would have shown a range of $1298 - $1725 for that frame. That sounds like real money to us.
