We do not take orders from our website. When you click on a 'buy' link, we pass you on to another vendor to complete the transaction. As a result, you need to find out order status information from the particular vendor you placed your order from. You can find contact information for each store on our Order Status page.

Try these solutions:

1. When you click on a "BUY" link, a NEW browser window should open taking you to that store's website. Sometimes the new window is hidden under other open windows on your desktop. Try looking on your desktop for other open browser windows.
2. If you use Internet Explorer 4.0 or 4.1, try this solution.
3. Email us the URL of the search results page and the name of the store where you clicked on "BUY" and we'll check it out.

To place an order, follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Search for the Item

Select the type of information you want to use in your search. For books, select one of the following options from the drop-down box: the author's name, the title of the book, a keyword (a word that is in the title, author, or the book's subject category), or the ISBN (International Standard Book Number). Enter your search information in the empty box and click on "Search". The search fields are slightly different for music, bikes, and DVDs/Videos.

Note: A search using the ISBN number is the quickest way to compare prices and will allow you to skip step 2 below.

Step 2: Identify the item you want

Our site will return a list of items that match your criteria, including the title and other item-specific information such as author, book format (e.g. hardcover, paperback, audio, etc.) and publication date for books. If you see the item you want, click on the link "Compare Prices" that appears to the left of the title. If you do not find your item, repeat your search using different information.

A list of stores selling that item will appear. The stores are listed in order by price, starting with the lowest price. Click on the "BUY" link next to a vendor store name if you want to buy the item or want more information about the item and store. The vendor's web site will open in a new window where you can order the item.

To find out about Hot Deals, you should check back regularly to our site. We add new deals several times a week. We will soon launch a user registration service that will allow you to receive notification of Hot Deals via email. We hope to have this service in place by late summer.
