We Have a Winner!!!

est Web Buys received over 11,000 entries for the 2001 scholarship program and we want to thank everyone who participated. We are happy to announce that the winner of the 2001 Best Book Buys $1,500 scholarship is Chaka Akbar from Richland College, Dallas, Texas. Click here to read the winning essay.

It was evident from reading the applications that essays were carefully considered and many applicants felt passionate about the books recommended. Over 3,000 different books were recommended as the most important book that should be read by all college students. Below is a list of the books that were recommended the most.
