Buyback
  The following stores have buyback programs that allow you to sell your books immediately for cash or store credit:

Store Credit Type Buyback Link Instructions and Policies
Barnes & Noble cash (check) Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBN of the book you want to sell.
  2. BN will tell you how much they will pay for the book.
  3. If you agree to the price, BN will send you a postage-paid shipping label to mail them the book.
  4. Once BN receives the book, BN will send you a check within 2-3 weeks.
  5. You must have at least $10.00 worth of books to sell in order to participate.

eCampus cash (check) Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBN(s) of the book(s) you want to sell.
  2. eCampus will tell you if they want to buy the book, and if so, how much they will pay for the book.
    (If they do not want to buy your book, you can try listing it on their Marketplace.)
  3. If you agree to the price, click the sell this book button from the eCampus Buybacks page.
  4. You'll be given postage-paid mailing label and instructions on how to mail your book back to eCampus.
  5. Mail the book back to eCampus within 7 days.
  6. Once eCampus receives the book, they will mail you a check.

Powell's store credit Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBNs of the books you want to sell.
  2. Powell's will tell you how much they will pay for the books.
  3. If you agree to the price, Powell's will send you a postage-paid shipping label to mail them the books.
  4. Once Powell's receives the books, they will place a credit into your Powell's account.
  5. You must have at least 3 books or $5.00 worth of books to sell in order to participate.

Textbooks.com cash (check) Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBN(s) of the book(s) you want to sell.
  2. Textbooks.com will tell you if they want to buy the book, and if so, how much they will pay for the book.
  3. Mail the book back to Textbooks.com within 7 days.
  4. Once Textbooks.com receives the book and approves its condition, they will mail you a check.
  5. You must have at least $10.00 worth of books to sell in order to participate.

  The following stores have marketplace programs that allow you to place your books for sale to others (your book could sell quickly or not at all, depending on demand):

Amazon Marketplace cash (direct deposit) Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBN of the book you want to sell.
  2. Enter the condition of the book.
  3. Amazon will show you the competing Marketplace offers. Enter the price you want to sell at.
  4. Once your book sells, you must ship it to buyer within 2 days.
  5. Amazon's commissions is 15% + $2.34. They will give you a $3.99 credit for standard shipping.

half.com cash (direct deposit) Click here to sell your book
  1. Enter the ISBN of the book you want to sell.
  2. Enter the condition of the book.
  3. Follow steps to post book.
  4. Once book sells, you will receive an email from half.com.
  5. Mail book, as indicated, within 72 hours.
  6. half.com's commission is 15% (or less for items over $50).
  7. half.com pays a $3.07 standard shipping credit for hardcovers and $2.64 for paperbacks.
  8. Your cash payment will be directly deposited into your bank account once a month.

  1. Enter the ISBN of the book you want to sell.
  2. Follow steps to post book.
  3. Once book sells, you will be issued a printable shipping label.
  4. Mail book, as indicated.
  5. Your cash payment will be directly deposited into your bank account.
  6. TextbookX commission is 15% + $0.99.
  7. TextbookX pays a $2.45 standard shipping credit.
